Agile Fluency Model

Agile coaching & training

Most Agile scaling models are very do not answer the question what do you need for running your business. The Agile fluency model is trying to help you to answer this questions. The model is like a ride with bus and you can get off at any time. Does your business works best in the pre-agile zone, that is fine. Some companies need the focusing, delivering, optimizing or even the strengthening zone. Team diagnostics

Currently there are only 3 Agile Fluency Facilitators in the Netherlands and two of them are working closely with Mataram.

These Agile Fluency Facilitators can run a team diagnostics for you. The Agile Fluency Model acts as the overarching guiding light for engagements and provides a framework to guide systemic change.

Step 1 – Determine Goals

The Diagnostic starts with you and your facilitator discussing your organizational goals and, based on those goals, which Agile Fluency Zones are the best fit for your teams.

Step 2 – Assess Current State

Next, your facilitator will lead a self-assessment workshop for each of your teams. The facilitator will use targeted questions and exercises to guide team members to new insights about the nature of their work, the benefits they’re providing, and where they have opportunities for improvement.

Step 3 – Synthesize Strategies

Finally, your facilitator will curate the results of all the self-assessment workshops into a set of reports and recommendations. Some will be given to teams, to reinforce the insights they gained from their workshops. Others will look at trends across all your teams, giving you new information about how your organizational system affects team fluency. Your facilitator will suggest several options for changes that will help you meet your organizational goals.

Agile Fluency Game

The Agile Fluency Facilitators are also able to run the Agile Fluency Game. The game simulates a real Agile team and you have to make trade off between delivering value items or delivering improving your team by implementing for examples user stories techniques.

Team members tend to play this game in the same way as they are behaving as a team. For example if the team lacks focus, they will do the same thing during the game. Therefore this game can be used as a great way to coach the team.

Also it can be used to explain the importance of continues integration and continues development to teams, business stakeholders and even management.
