Story of Mataram

During our honeymoon we visited Indonesia. Close to Jogjakarta we visited an old monastery with a guide. One of the monks came to our guide and he said that I was enlightened and touched by the light. My wife could not stop laughing but our guide was very impressed. He told us that normally these monks never talk and especially not about tourist who are just visiting. This monastery used to be part of an old kingdom which was called Mataram. Even if you do not believe the enlightenment part, it is still a good story 😉
